Background and Objectives: One of the major issues facing all organizations, such as government agencies and can Staff efficiency and productivity organization thus affect the is subject to burnout. The study aimed to investigate the effect of organizational structure on job burnout employees of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education was conducted.
Method: This study was a cross-sectional descriptive analytic that in 2013 Conducted. To this end, the Ministry of Health staff who are about 2142 people, 326 people were selected using stratified random sampling. To measure the variables in this study, the organizational structure and job burnout questionnaire, were used. For data analysis, ANOVA, T-test and multiple regression analysis were used.
Results: Based on the results of this study, differences in organizational structure and job burnout among men and women were similar. Component complexity has a direct impact on job burnout, focusing component has an adverse effect on job burnout and recognition component without affecting burnout were employees of the Ministry of Health.
Discussion: The organizational structure of the Ministry of Health staff can work on job burnout is favorable or unfavorable. Accordingly, providing suitable conditions to optimize the organizational structure, can lead to fundamental changes and reduction of employees' job burnout.
